One of the most frustrating things when installing a new tire is working the bead onto one side of the rim while the bead on the other side s-l-o-w-l-y creeps back off. The NoMar YellowThing prevents this little "one step forward, two steps back" dance from occurring by functioning as a barrier wedge between the rim and the tire. Just get the bead started, slip in the YellowThing, then finish off the bead. The rubberized coating prevents rim damage and enhances your grip.
