If you've spent any time around a race track, you know the name Ohlins. As the entry level offering in the Ohlins line, the S36E provides a hugely improved ride over stock without all of the bells and whistles that drive cost up. The S36E rear shocks utilize a 36mm piston immersed in oil and controlled by a specially tuned shim stack backed up with a nitrogen charge. Good solid suspension with no frills.
Note: Emulsion shocks are non-adjustable and will be valved for a rider weight of 150-250lbs. Ohlins recommends adjustable shocks like the S36DR1 for riders outside of that range.
