Shoei GT-Air 3 Boldardo Helmet

The Shoei GT Air 3 Helmet marks a step forward in touring helmet design. The Advanced Integrated Matrix fiberglass shell showcases a perfect blend between strength and weight reduction. The helmet’s sleek exterior benefits further from a 3-D Max-Dry interior liner and cheek pads, included chin curtain, and an optional, shell-integrated SRL3 Bluetooth communication system (available separately) - an ethos that Shoei terms "Silent Ride Engineering".

Equipped with a fog-resistant CNS-1C face shield and an included Pinlock lens, the GT Air 3 ensures clear vision on every journey. It also features a QSV-2 internal sun visor that offers wide coverage against the sun's glare. Versus the model that it replaces, at speed the GT Air 3 sports an 11% decrease in lift and - most importantly - a 6% reduction in frontal wind resistance over the GT Air 2.  Secured with a micrometric ratcheting chin strap, this GT Air 3 is a fusion of sport, comfort, and touring that is ready for every curve.

Aerodynamic Shell Design:

• Shoei's top full-face touring helmet
• Revised gasket seal for even better protection from noise and weather intrusion
• Real world and wind tunnel testing to improve aerodynamic properties - exceeding riders’ feedback from GT-Air 2 predecessor
• Firmer shield detents to keep shield in place in every scenario
• Multi-piece EPS liner enhances impact absorption and ventilation
• Molded air spoiler reduces drag and lift as well as diminishes pressure on the rider’s neck while riding at speed
• Integrated comm system base accepts the Shoei SRL3 Bluetooth Communicator by Sena

Advanced Integrated Matrix (AIM):

• High performance fiber materials combined with elastic organic fibers to create a shell structure that is ultra-lightweight, rigid and resilient
• Three shell sizes: XS-MD, LG, XL-2XL

CNS-1C Shield System:

• CNS-1C three-dimensionally curved face shield is both wider and taller than the shield it replaces
• Includes CWR-1 Evo Pinlock Anti-Fog Lens insert
• Dual-ridge window bead increases contact with the shield to reduce wind noise
• Scratch-resistant shield coating
• 99.9% protection from harmful UV A&B rays

Sun Shield Visor System:

• Built-in QSV-2 sun shield gives riders instant relief from sun glare in one quick motion
• Visor meets ANSI Z80.3-2010 standard for non-prescription eyeglasses
• Large and easy to reach slider activates the 3D injection-molded inner sun shield
• Distortion-free shield blocks 99% of harmful UV rays

Ventilation System:

• Redesigned upper air intake vent positioned to maximize air volume into the helmet interior
• Enlarged lower intake vent with filter reduces shield fogging and increases ventilation
• Upper and lower intake vents are easy to operate even with gloved hands
• Rear/neck vents allow for effective air exhaust
• Breath guard and chin curtain included

Interior System:

• 3-D Max-Dry center pad and multi-layered, polyurethane foam cheek pads
• Chin curtain prevents wind entry and reduces noise
• Cheek pads are replaceable or removable for maintenance
• Eyeglass compatible interior
• E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick-Release System) helps emergency medical personnel to remove the helmet

Micro Ratchet Chin-Strap:

• 100% stainless steel micrometric ratcheting chin strap
• Quick, smooth and easy to operate

Safety Certification:

• DOT
