The VForce4X reed valve system represents a comprehensive overhaul from its predecessor, the VForce4R, which had undergone continuous improvements over the years. This new design introduces major changes in all components of the VForce reed valve system. It features an airfoil shape at the reed tip to enhance air velocity from the outer ports and employs a novel reed petal resin system, integrating carbon fiber and lay-up in the pre-curved reed petals to ensure superior sealing at the tip. Additionally, the VForce4X has been equipped with longer reed stops designed to decelerate petal tip velocity gradually, which contributes to the durability of the petals. The overall reed tip area has expanded by more than 10%, leading to a significant increase in total airflow. Moreover, the VForce4X boasts a 15.6% reduction in the frontal area of the central wing and features a more aerodynamic shape, optimizing performance.
