This feature dramatically improves tow safety and delivers an enjoyable towing experience all the while mitigating the risk of wheel, suspension, and drivetrain damage, affecting both the tow vehicle and the trailer. Measuring tongue weight has never been easier, thanks to Weigh Safe's scale. The procedure is straightforward - couple the trailer to the ball mount, exactly like any other mount. The downward pressure of the trailer's weight on the hitch ball triggers an internal hydraulic piston. This force on the oil reservoir subsequently transfers as a reading on the hitch's built-in scale. The scale exhibits impressive accuracy, with a variance of just 1.25% +/- (50lb +/-), providing reliable measurements across the entire weight range.
