Nearly 20,000 dependents have been left behind by troops that have fallen in the line of duty over the past 35 years.
Children of Fallen Patriots' mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. They're dedicated to serving the families of service members from all branches of the armed forces who have died as a result of combat casualties, military training accidents, service-related illnesses, suicide, as well as other duty-related deaths as ruled by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The vision of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is to ensure that every child of a fallen patriot receives all necessary college funding.
Johannah Bordelon is the daughter of U.S. Army First Sergeant Michael Bordelon. He lost his life on May 10, 2005 when a roadside bomb detonated during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is remembered by loved ones as the most inspiring and incredibly hardworking man who was constantly laughing.

Katie Palmer is the daughter of U.S. Marine Corps Lt Col James “Chili” Palmer. “My dad was a “Marine’s Marine” through and through. He was fiercely loyal and strong willed, but also so goofy and loving. He was the best father imaginable for my little family and his legacy lives on through all who knew him. We all miss him so much.”

Adriana Paola Cintrón Negrón is the daughter of U.S. Army Specialist Marcos Armando Cintrón. He passed away in 2011 from injuries suffered in Baghdad. “My father gave me all I have today. He is my hero. He was brave, caring and made everyone around him feel safe and happy,” she said.
