525 Cams are a real workhorse, designed to increase torque band width and increase fuel economy. Great bolt in camshaft upgrade for stock 88 & 96 engines also performs very well in 103 strokers. Produces strong low and mid-range power with a linear horsepower and torque curve. Can be used with factory valve springs, pushrods and lifters. Increases throttle response and eases starting. Will also respond well to increased compression and cylinder head work. RPM 1,750-5,500

These combination kits not only ensure each individual part is designed to work and function together but to do so in total harmony. These kits guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, peak performance and the coolest engine and oil temperatures obtainable. These camshafts utilize the 99-06 inner cam journals with the 07-17 outer cam journals allowing the use of the 07-17 camplates, oil pump, hydraulic chain tensioners and chain drive system. Kits include OE+ oil pump and camplate, Reaper Series conversion camshafts, HP+ hydraulic roller lifters, Quick install adjustable pushrods, pushrod tubes, sprockets, cam chains, sprocket spacers, Timken bearings, gaskets, O-rings, exhaust gaskets, ARP fasteners, washers, moly paste, Loctite, and hardware.

bike run strong and super quiet now. did it my self also. very easy.

My bike has more power and it seems to run cooler since installing this kit. Also got rid of spring tensioners. Happy all the way around.

After seeing the crappy factory tensioners were close to failure, I decided to upgrade to a hydraulic cam chest. The kit comes with everything you’ll need. After tearing it down I decided to go the route and pull the rocker boxes, I justified doing that by ordering a set of one piece push rods, also Feuling. While the rocker box was apart I installed a set of rocker lockers to get rid of the annoying top end tick. The only real issue I had was with the pinion sprocket, it was marked on both sides but one side seemed to be slightly off center, which made it hard to feel confident in having the timing set properly. It also seemed to be difficult to push onto the crank until I flipped it over and found that the timing mark on the other side (the side without the writing) was dead on while the sprocket slid on much easier. I spoke with Feuling about that, the support is great by the way, and they told me either way was fine. Now the best part. This cam set will really wake up your TC 88. The stock cams on my bike started nosing over at about 4500, but this set pulls right through 6000. You can feel the torque as well, it pulls really hard consistently through the RPM’s. When it’s idling it sounds like a beast now. I’ve got a set of S&S Grand Nationals and an S&S Stealth air cleaner. Even with the decibel reducers, it’s got a very deep rumble while you can hear the air cleaner sucking air in a cool rhythm with the exhaust. My bike is carbureted, the stock CV carb with one size larger on the main jet and it seems to run ok, but I’m going to go up one size on both because I think it might come off idle a little better with a bigger pilot jet. It’s not horrible, but she stumbles a second when cracking the throttle from idle, I think it’s because the intake valve is opening a little earlier than stock. But make no mistake it’s very drivable as it is, and actually is like having a new bike! Thanks Feuling and of course JP Cycles
