The Flare motorcycle windshield, specifically developed by Klock Werks for enhanced front-end stability crucial during high-speed races on the Bonneville Salt Flats, stands as the pioneering windshield of its kind. The patented design includes unique "hips" at the edges, effectively rerouting wind away from the rider while boosting down-force on the motorcycle’s front, greatly enhancing wind deflection and front-end stability versus traditional windshields. Additionally, the Flare features a "flip" at the top which helps in reducing rider buffeting by elevating and smoothing the airflow. • The 12" height combines the best of a tall and short shield by blending the aggressive, sporty look of the shorter 8" with some of the added performance of the taller 14" touring version - it's low enough to see over, but high enough to make a real difference
• The 14" height may be one of the most versatile sizes in the line-up for those long haulers that want the wind protection but don't want the look of having one of the tallest windshields out there
• The 16" height was designed for long-haul touring - it offers the largest pocket of protection from the wind for both rider and passenger while also adding some style, and is recommended for those who prefer looking through the windshield
• Wind tunnel designed and tested, the “hips” provide added down-force while the “flip” directs air over the rider
