The AirCharger Air Intake System from K&N presents as a significant upgrade from the limiting factory air filter and air intake housing. The unique architecture facilitates a smoother and more streamlined air flow pathway, enabling the engine to draw in a substantial volume of air, far exceeding the standard air filter assembly. The result is enhanced power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range.

The package comes with K&N's high-performance air filters and contains an isolated heat shield that fits within the previous air box space. The engine's throttle body garners air through unrestricted aluminum intake tubes, assuring a reliable power boost. Promising longevity, the conically-oversized air filters serve diligently for approximately 100,000 miles before requiring service, contingent upon driving conditions. The air intake system leverages existing factory mounting points for installation and has a provided replacement silicone idle bypass hose.

This air intake is both CARB approved and legal across all 50 states (EO Number: D-269-78).
