The sporty Merlin Barton 2 Wax Jacket uses timeless Halley Stevensons waxed cotton canvas in a unique cut falling longer than waist length yet shorter than three-quarter. A Reissa Waterproof membrane backs the waxed cotton shell to guarantee waterproofing while adding breathability that is typically lacking in waxed waterproofing techniques. The CE level 1 armor at the elbows and shoulders comes standard from the factory, and a pocket for a back protector (sold separately) is provided. A thermal liner with 150g of insulation can be added or removed depending on the forecast.
