Weigh Safe XL True Tow Weight Distribution Hitch 2.5" Shank

The True Tow Weight Distribution Hitch by Weigh Safe does more than redistributing weight across the towing platform. It adeptly measures vehicle tongue weight via a mounted scale. Greater knowledge for safer, more comfortable towing. This is accomplished by delivering tongue weight from the trailer to the rear axle of the tow vehicle and the axle(s) of the trailer. This helps balance weight on the front axle of the tow vehicle, offering a streamlined ride with reduced sway from winds or passing automobiles. It results in a safer, more enjoyable towing experience while minimizing wear and risk of failure to tires, wheel bearings, suspension parts, and the drivetrain of the trailer and the tow vehicle.

The useful scale included in the Weigh Safe ensures optimal tongue weight (between 10-15% of gross trailer weight) every time. The scale's real-time readout saves time and effort in adjusting a new tongue weight whenever the load conditions change. To enhance usability, download the "DTW" Distributed Tongue Weight app from Weigh Safe. The app assists in calculating weight and setting up trailers. Additionally, the distribution hitches from Weigh Safe are easy to interchange between different tow vehicles and trailers. Relocate additional sets of bracket hardware (sold separately) to other vehicles.
