The Vance & Hines story

Terry Vance and Byron Hines started Vance & Hines in Southern California in 1979. They were drag racers first, and the shop began by building cylinder heads, cams and engines for other racers. The company introduced its first exhaust system in 1982, and that's when it took off. On the drag strip, the pair won 14 national championships, and V&H has run championship-winning programs with Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, Yamaha and Ducati.
