Indian Motorcycle unveiled its 2021 model line today, the addition of a 2021 Indian Vintage Dark Horse and 2021 Indian Roadmaster Limited among the most noteworthy updates. The Indian Vintage is the latest model to get the Dark Horse treatment, a combination of matte black paint and blacked-out parts, all the way down to the Vintage’s signature fringed leather bags. The Roadmaster Limited takes a completely different course with gloss paint, chrome finishes, Metzeler Cruisetec tires, Indian’s new ClimaCommand Rogue heated and cooled seat and Ride Command with Apple CarPlay.

The crux of Indian’s 2021 efforts focuses on accessories and upgrades for the existing model line. The ClimaCommand heated and cooled seat Indian introduced a couple months back comes standard on the Roadmaster Limited and Roadmaster Dark Horse and is available as an added accessory for all 2014 through 2021 Thunderstroke models. All 2021 Roadmaster, Chieftain, and Challengers now come with Apple CarPlay. A new adaptive headlight also highlights Indian’s 2021 accessory line. Compatible with most Chieftain, Roadmaster and Challenger models, the Pathfinder Adaptive LED Headlight senses the motorcycle’s lean angle and activates individual LED projector beams accordingly. Indian offers new Pathfinder S LED Driving Lights to complete the upgrade in illumination. For Indian Challenger owners there’s a new 17 gallon, quick-release trunk. Indian also made a fresh line of touring accessories for the Scout including a color-matched, quick release mini Chieftain-style fairing with a two-inch windshield, semi-rigid saddlebags, and heated grips. Indian continues to offer a host of performance upgrades as well, from a stage 1 slip-on exhaust to a full-on Thunderstroke 116 stage 3 big bore kit.

“We’re extremely motivated by the significant brand momentum we’re experiencing, and we’re as focused as ever to provide our riders with best-in-class products and experiences,” said Reid Wilson, Vice President of Indian Motorcycle in the announcement. “Our riders are extremely discerning, with high expectations across the board and it’s incumbent upon us to stay on the cutting edge in style, performance, and technology. Our 2021 lineup additions and upgraded features are a result of the hard work and dedication we pour into every bike in the lineup.”

One notable absence from Indian Motorcycle's 2021 announcement is the FTR1200. Indian introduced the FTR Rally as a mid-year model back in February, though, and intends on introducing the newest versions at a later date.
