These direct bolt-on replacements are engineered to increase shock bore diameter, significantly reducing the risk of fading and utilizing velocity-sensitive damping to enhance resistance force during repetitive impacts. Constructed with lightweight aluminum bodies and reservoirs, these shocks offer an optimal balance of reduced weight and unmatched performance. For those seeking to fine-tune their suspension system, the shocks come equipped with independent high- and low-speed compression adjusters, wide-range rebound adjusters, and a dual-rate spring package with adjustable crossover rings for peak performance adjustments. Fox's exclusive Internal Bypass technology (IBP) delivers superior damping variability. With IBP, the damping changes with the piston's position within the shock, ensuring a smoother ride over rough terrain while preventing bottoming out or damage from topping out. This technology adjusts damping to be lighter during mid-stroke for a smoother ride over obstacles, significantly increasing damping at full compression to resist bottoming out at high speeds, and again as the shock extends, to safeguard against topping out.
