Fox Factory has seamlessly incorporated position-sensitive damping technology known from the realm of trophy trucks into a direct replacement for UTV / Side-by-Side vehicles.

Enlarging the shock bore diameter enhances resilience against fading, while velocity-sensitive damping produces additional resistance force for constant impacts. All of this is constructed using lightweight aluminum bodies and reservoirs to enhance performance without adding unnecessary weight.

For those aiming to fine-tune their suspension, the unit features independent high- and low-speed compression adjusters, broad-range rebound adjusters, and a bona fide dual-rate spring package with adaptable crossover rings. These features enable users to tweak their setup for the best possible performance.

Furthermore, the product is equipped with Fox's patented Internal Bypass technology (IBP). This innovation enables the control of damping to vary in accordance with the location of the piston within the shock. This means that when the piston is moving in the middle of the stroke, the damping can be gentler to smoothen out whoops and rocks, while maintaining efficient control over body roll. At the bottom of the shock, during full compression, the damping significantly escalates to resist bottoming out - even at high speeds over large jumps. The damping also increases as the shock expands and the piston reaches the top, preventing potential damage from topping out when the springs unload their energy.
